COVID-19
Travelling to Zambia:
LATEST UPDATE:
From 4 am on Monday 11 October, Zambia will no longer be on the red list for entering England.
Check what you must do to travel out of the UK and your return to England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. (Full details available on the gov.uk website)
All travellers entering Zambia must provide a Negative SARS CoV-2 PCR test result. The test should have been conducted within the previous 3 days of travel.
Travellers not meeting this requirement will not be allowed into the country. For further information please see Revised Guidelines on COVID-19.

Kindly note that the list of facilities will be updated as and when more facilities are identified. The District Health Directors will work closely with the designated quarantine facilities to ensure strict compliance to COVID-19 Public Health measures.
We are all being encouraged to observe Public Health measures put in place to avoid the further spread of COVID-19.
GETTING A COVID TEST WHILE IN ZAMBIA
Check with your carrier for COVID-19 travel requirements as they may require you to follow different guidelines to those stipulated by the Zambian Government.

NEW RULES AND GUIDELINES FROM 12 APRIL 2021

At the Mission, we update our operational hours to align with the UK Governments guidelines.
TRAVELLING TO AND FROM ZAMBIA DURING THE PANDEMIC
Travel advice from the FCO requires that temperature checks are carried out on arrival.
All visitors must have proof that they have tested negative for COVID-19 in the 14 days before their arrival in Zambia.
All returning residents need to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival and may be asked for proof of having tested negatively for COVID-19 in the previous 14 days.

ZAMBIA HIGH COMMISSION LONDON: UPDATE ON OPENING TIMES
During this period, Zambia High Commission will operate the following opening times.
- The new working hours are from 10 am – 3 pm.
- Immigration Department open to the public Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am – 1 pm by appointment only.
