After the new normal elbow-bump greeting, at COP26 the President of Zambia had a brief conversation with the Prime Minister of the UK and said he is confident that Zambia and UK will continue to support each other in key areas of good governance, economy, trade, and investment as well as education and health.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and InternationalCooperation, Hon. Stanley Kakubo says Zambia is committed to maintaining a record of peace and democracy on the continent following the democratic election of Zambia’s 7th President, His Excellency, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.

We are elated by the former UK Prime Minister’s visit and while in office, we will heighten the implementation of our foreign policy which is anchored on economic diplomacy. This bridge will provide trade and business opportunities for our people and other countries.
