Appointed High Commissioner for the Republic of Zambia to the United Kingdom on 25 April 2019 and sworn in on 10 May 2019 by His Excellency Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia. The High Commissioner brings a wealth of knowledge with him as he continues his diplomatic services on behalf of Zambia.
“Whilst here as High Commissioner, I plan to enhance the already warm and cordial relationship that exists between the two countries. I will make sure that Trade and Investment between the two countries are enhanced too, leveraging on the advantage of being a member of the Commonwealth.”
HC Mihova’s term has already seen him navigate the Covid-19 challenge, where the UK entered into 3 lockdown periods to date. This challenge has needed a strong team at the Mission to ensure that the Mission continues to provide its service even during the Lockdown period. The Mission has had to pivot and change in line with the rest of the world and has made sure more services, support and events have taken place online. The High Commissioner welcomes all Zambians to actively work with the Mission to collaborate over new efforts that drive continued growth development and change for Zambia and its people.
